2. What equipment do I need to go on the ice?

3. Does the uniform include socks?
Yes, the uniform includes a Timbits jersey and socks.
4. Can I help out on the ice with my child?
Yes, you can, and we are looking for parent volunteers to help out the instructors on the ice. If you are interested, the only requirements are that you wear a helmet and skates and can stand up on the ice yourself. Please do not worry if you are not able to help out on the ice, we will have lots of volunteers and instructors to assist your child.
5. Is there a dressing room for the players?
Yes, players can use the change rooms at West Ferris or they can also get dressed in the lobby.
6. Can my child play on the same team as a sibling or friend?
We do our best to accommodate both sibling and friend requests as we understand that this helps parents for carpooling purposes as well as encouraging a child to participate in a new program.
7. Is a mouthguard necessary for my child to participate?
No. As per Hockey Canada mouthguards are not mandatory at this age.
8. Is my $50 Gift Card only good for hockey equipment?
No. Your $50 Gift Card is good towards anything in our store.
9. Can I use my Gift Card at any Source for Sports store?
No. Your Gift Card is not transferrable and is only redeemable at Source for Sports North Bay.
